Gemma is the Engagement Manager at Lost Group, responsible for candidate and client relationships. With over 9 years marketing and recruitment experience across a variety of sectors, including tech and property, Gemma brings a fresh perspective to the judging panel.

Alex Warner - Director, Lost Group

Alex Warner – Director, Lost Group

Alex Warner has over 30 years’ experience in the industry having held board positions with major train, bus, and coach companies. More recently, Alex set up AJW Experience Group, which develops customer service programmes and Great Scenic Journeys, a ‘one-stop-shop’ service that promotes and provides customer accreditation for more than 160 bus and coach routes across the UK and Ireland. Alex is also the founder and director of Lost Group.

Giles Fearnley - Chair / Founder and Non-Executive Director

Giles Fearnley – Chair / Founder and Non-Executive Director

There are few more experienced and well-respected bus industry professionals than Giles Fearnley, who has enjoyed over 45 years senior experience in the transport sector. He was previously founder and Chair of leading bus company Blazefield and also co-founder and then Chief Executive of Prism Rail plc which operated 4 UK train franchises. Giles is currently non-executive Chairman of Dillistone plc and also AJW Experience Group, which provides a range of services for the transport sector, including its Great Scenic Journeys marketing and customer service proposition.

Nafisa Nathani - Diversity and Inclusion Specialist

Nafisa Nathani – Diversity and Inclusion Specialist

Nafisa Nathani is currently a Diversity & Inclusion specialist in the Southern region in Network Rail. She has over ten years’ experience within communications and people management. Nafisa is currently the Chair of Network Rail’s race network, Cultural Fusion and regularly writes in Passenger Transport on topics relating to leadership, organisational culture and employee engagement. She provides a fresh voice in the railway and urges the industry to innovate and modernise in relation to workplace practices and culture to cater to the changing demographic of modern Britain

Rupert Cox - Senior Leader

Rupert Cox – Senior Leader

Rupert Cox has worked in the UK bus industry for almost 25 years, spent mostly in senior leadership roles at Stagecoach Group Limited. Rupert has a commercially focussed approach to delivering better services and a passion for inspiring the leaders of the future to reach their potential.

Nigel Stevens - Chair, Transport Focus

Nigel Stevens – Chair, Transport Focus

Nigel Stevens is currently chair of Transport Focus. Prior to this he has worked at senior level in the transport sector, including as CEO Transdev UK and Ireland and COO of Keolis UK. With extensive experience across all modes of public transport, his responsibilities have included major, capital city light rail and bus businesses through to airport transport operations and private hire on-demand services. As a senior leader in an international group, he has worked across the European and US markets, using these reference points in his current role. Nigel is a non-executive director for an NHS foundation hospital trust and a proud veteran, with 18 years of service as an RAF officer.
